LEE KERNAGHAN
Lee Kernaghan OAM is an Australian country music singer, songwriter, musician and guitarist. He was born on 15 April 1964 in Corryong, Victoria, the son of country music singer and truck driver Ray Kernaghan and the grandson of a third generation drover of sheep and cattle. Lee spent his formative years growing up in the Riverina country of New South Wales.
Lee was the 2008 Australian of the Year, in recognition for his support of rural and regional Australia.
ALBERT CARNAHAN
Albert Sidney Johnson Carnahan (January 9, 1897 – March 24, 1968) was a United States politician from Southeast Missouri. He was elected to represent Missouri in the House of Representativesas as a Democrat  in 1944, and served until 1960 following which he was appointed as the first United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone. Dr. JAMES W. KERNOHAN
One of the most distinguished neuropathologists of the 20th Century was Dr. James Watson Kernohan, born the son of a country school teacher in 1896, at Moyasset, County Antrim.
He advanced to Professor of Pathology in 1936 and from 1943 was Head of the Section of Pathologic Anatomy at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota until his retirement in 1962. In 1955 he was appointed to the United State’s representative committee to the Second International Congress of Neuropathology . He died in 1981 in Rochester, Minnesota.
